Melbourne by foglight

4 Jun

The impact today of serious fog in Melbourne from morning till night was amazing.
The morning felt mysterious and full of possibility.
Emerging from my office at lunchtime I felt cushioned, as if the fog was really as soft as the giant marshmellow clouds it resembled.
Riding home tonight through a foggy night with backlight pink and the view of the city in the distance was magical.

It is magical isn’t it? Love riding home in the evening with the city lights all smudged by the fog.

I hope you’re not after something deep and meaningful from me. Marshmallow clouds! Indeed.

Probably you just don’t get to see them up in Sidknee. What with all the rain. Makes you all cynical and cantankerous : – )
